Apryl Raye and the Bootleggers are a searing hot rock ‘n roll band exciting crowds with their soulful renditions of tunes by Janis Joplin, Susan Tedeschi, Alabama Shakes, the Black Crowes, etc.

Apryl Raye (Lead Vocals) - A phenomenon from Louisiana’s Bayou country, Apryl Raye honed her performing skills the old-school way –singing in her local parish church. After enlisting in the Navy, she came to the attention of the Commanding Officer of the USS Constitution in Boston. The Commander arranged showcases for her at a number of Navy events, culminating with a concert with the Boston Pops Symphony. After a stint with at the Navy Band Musician's school in Virginia Beach, VA., Apryl was transferred to Jacksonville, FL. There she fronted the Red and Black Band, a classic rock outfit touring in support of military veterans. She recently transferred to Maryland where she hooked up with the Bootleggers who shared her love of new and classic blues-rock material.

Terry "T" Harrison (Guitar, Vocals) - Terry's been playing guitar since he was 12. Growing up on Maryland's Eastern Shore, he immersed himself in the local music scene and played with several bands, learning a wide variety of musical styles. When he moved to the DC area, Terry played with Network (Rolling Stones tribute band), Little Royal and the Swingmasters (R & B), Tex Rubinowitz and the Casa Loma Cowboys (C&W/Rockabilly), Northwest Branch (western swing), the Jittersteps (jazz), and Savage Beer Garden (Australian pop). To round out his playing knowledge he co-founded The Blueprints, (blues and Motown), where he began his association with fellow Bootleggers Don Naideck and John Davis. This partnership continued in the southern rock quartet, Rebels in Rehab. Terry also holds down guitar duties when rockabilly giant Sleep Labeef plays in the DC area.

Don "The Donald" Naideck (Keyboards, Vocals) - Don's first pro gig came when he was 14 years old. Starting from his hometown in northern New Jersey, Don studied music theory and composition in Boston. He lugged around a Hammond organ and Yamaha electric grand piano (and sometimes a saxophone) performing with a variety of bands in Boston and New York. Moving to the Washington area in the 80’s, Don performed locally with such bands as Majestic (where he first played with Bootlegger drummer John Davis), the Defectors, the Gene Ryder Band, the Blueprints (with fellow Bootlegger guitarist Terry Harrison) and, most recently, Rebels in Rehab.

Glenn "The Hammer" Alexander (Bass, Vocals) - Glenn has performed and recorded with some of the best local and national acts. He has played from New York to Nashville, along the way, sharing the stage with Ronnie Dove, Jay and the Americans, The Angels, Sam and Dave, Bobbie Hebb, Barbara Mandrell, Danny Gatton, Diemetri Callas (The Four Seasons), etc. He was a semi-finalist in the 2011 International Blues Challenge held in Memphis. Glenn has written and produced award-winning music for local and national broadcast. He was signed as an exclusive songwriter with Acuff-Rose Publishing in Nashville and is currently signed with Sony Music.

John "JohnnyD" Davis (Drums). John started his drum studies at the age of 11 with Rob Bic, followed by Rob's protégé, Robert Miller, and finally Ron Barnett at the University of Maryland College Park where John was the principle snare drum player and frequented the tympani. John’s true musical love is 70’s soul/R&B and 80’s new-wave - his strongest influence being Stewart Copeland of The Police, who changed the way John approaches the drum kit. John has performed with numerous DC-area bands including Majestic (Top 40), The Defectors (Rock), The Pep Boys (Rock, Alternitive), The Blueprints (Blues, R&B), Kevin Kline (Billy Joel meets Elton John) and Rebels in Rehab (Souther Rock / Blues).
